Shoe Drive

The Shoe Drive has been an ongoing project done by the clubs in  Dream Tree Youth Leaders Foundation since 2019. Each club colorfully decorate boxes and place them in a variety of locations to collect quality-conditioned shoes. Shoes are also collected through donations made by club members themselves in addition to the shoes they acquire from their friends and family. These shoes are collected over a period of time until May when members come together to clean shoes and place them in bags of 25 pairs. They are then transferred to a truck which comes annually to pick them up and deliver them to a processing factory. From there, the shoes are distributed to 24 low-income countries. Each year, we donate over 2,500 pairs of shoes.
